A former lode Cu-Ag-Au mine located in sec. 24, T27N, R10E, MDM, 4.3 km (2.7 miles) ENE of Evans Peak, on the divide between Moonlight Creek and Lights Creek, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in diorite. A basic dike 5 feet wide strikes N25W and dips 65E in the diorite. The dike has been followed for 300 feet by an adit 200 feet below outcrop. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 5 (Northern Sierra Nevada and Eastern Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings. One adit exists 200 feet below outcrop, 200 feet long and being extended in 1920. One stope 35 feet long and 75 feet high.
Production data are found in: Logan (1921): 469.
$16,000 of ore were produced and shipped prior to 1919 (period values). The ore ran 0.30% Cu, at times with usually one ounce of Ag for every per cent of Cu.
