A Cu-Au occurrence located in sec. 33, T27N, R8E, MDM, 2.3 km (7,700 feet) SW of Canyondam, on the steep side of the canyon of the North Fork Feather River, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a Cu-Au deposit hosted in greenstone. Local rocks include Tertiary volcanic flow rocks, unit 17 (Cascade Range).
Workings include underground openings totaling 33.53 meters in length. Workings include a 50 foot long tunnel along the E bank of the canyon, southerly 100 yeards and higher 100-200 feet are two additional tunnels 30 feet long following quartz veins.
Analytical data revealed samples from the dump averaging 4% Cu, and $8.00 per ton Au (period values).
