A Cu-Au occurrence/group of claims located in sec. 33, T27N, R8E, MDM, 2.2 km (7,300 feet) SW of Canyondam, along the North Fork Feather River, on National Forest land. On the steep side of the canyon of the North Fork Feather River. The road from Westwood or Greenville to Seneca passes within 2 miles of this group. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in greenstone. Local rocks include Tertiary volcanic flow rocks, unit 17 (Cascade Range).
Workings include underground openings. Workings total 33.53 meters in length. A 50 foot tunnel along the east bank of the canyon, southerly 100 yards and higher 100-200 feet are two more tunnels 30 feet long following quartz veins.
