A Cu-Au occurrence located in sec. 6, T27N, R11E, MDM, 4.2 km (2.6 miles) ESE of Moonlight Peak, on National Forest land. Also located in secs. 1, 12 & 13, T27N, R10E, and in secs. 6, 7 & 8, T27N, R11E, MDM. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is either 500 or 1,000 meters (2 MRDS files).
Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
