A Cu occurrence located in sec. 21, T26N, R15E, MDM, 6.5 km (4.0 miles) E of Johnson Hill and 3.2 km (2.0 miles) SE of Black Mountain (Lassen County), on Doyle and Squaw Valley Road, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in diorite. The ore body strikes NW and dips vertical. It is 1.22 meters thick and 914.4 meters long. Local rocks include Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range).

Workings include underground openings. The Copper Queen has a tunnel 40 feet long and a series of shafts 10 to 20 feet deep.
