A former Cu-Ag mine located 2.3 km (7,600 feet) NW of Rattlesnake Peak and 3 miles SW of Engels, on National Forest land.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 5 (Northern Sierra Nevada and Eastern Klamath Mountains).
Production reports include a report that a partial car of ore was shipped carrying 7 to 8% Cu and 40 ounces Ag/ton.
