A former Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 2, T15N, R13E, MDM, 3.3 km (2.0 miles) ENE of Canada Hill (coordinates of record), along the W wall of Sailor Canyon, on private land within a National Forest area. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 5 (Northern Sierra Nevada and Eastern Klamath Mountains).
