A Cr occurrence/prospect located in sec. 5, T13N, R9E, MDM, 0.8 km (0.5 mile) NNW of New England Mills, along the W side of Interstate highway 80. Owned by G. C. Hepburn. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
The ore body is a small deposit disseminated and hosted in topsoil. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include surface openings comprised of 1 small pit and several trenches, that failed to uncover additional ore.
