A former Cr occurrence/mine located in sec. 12, T13N, R9E, MDM, about 6.3 km WSW of Todd Valley, on the W canyon wall of Gas Canyon, SW of the Spring Garden School. Owned by R. H. Farmer & J. G. Dodds (1918). Operated by R. H. Farmer (1918). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
The ore body is lenticular in form. Ore occurred as a series of small lenses striking about N35W. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of 24 foot deep shaft with 12 feet of short drifts at bottom.
