A former Au occurrence/prospect/mine located in the NW¼ (estimated) sec. 14, T13N, R9E, MDM, about 9.3 km WSW of Todd Valley and about 5.6 km NNE of Grizzly Bear House, on the Forest Hill Divide (3 miles SE of Applegate). Owned by J. W. Burner (1935). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. The ore body strikes N12W and dips 45NE. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings with a length of 12.19 meters and an overall depth of 8.84 meters and comprised of a shaft & tunnel (adit ?).
