A former placer Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 4, T15N, R10E, MDM, on Pug Ugly Flat 1.5 km (0.9 mile) SW of Dutch Flat (based on the coordinates of record for the Blue Devil Diggings), on the divide between Dutch Flat Canyon and Squires Canyon. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters. This former mine is very prominent on the topo map as a large red area covering almost the entire top of Ugly Pug Flat.
