A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the N½SE¼ (estimated) sec. 9, T17N, R11E, MDM, about 2.3 km NNE of Omega, S of the South Yuba River and SE of Holbrook Flat, on National Forest land. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is hosted in quartzite and phyllite. The ore body strikes N10W and dips 80E. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
