A former lode Au-Cu-Pb occurrence/mine located in the SE¼ sec. 2 & in the NE¼ sec. 11, T16N, R8E, MDM, 1.2 km (0.8 mile) ENE of Indian Flat (coordinates of record), S of Cement Hill and Cement Hill Road, N of highway 49 (¾ mile NW of Nevada City). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is hosted in granodiorite. The ore body strikes NW and dips 42NE at a thickness of 1.83 meters. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings with a length of 304.8 meters and an overall depth of 82.3 meters and comprised of a tunnel, inclined shaft, stopes and a drift adit.
