A former Au occurrence/mine located in the SE¼ (estimated) sec. 32, T17N, R9E, MDM, about 2.5 km N of Willow Valley (town) and about 4.6 km NE of Nevada City proper, along the North Bloomfield-Cooper Road, N of Harmony Ridge. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
The ore body is 0.61 meter thick. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) and/or Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range).
