A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the SW¼SE¼ sec. 14, T18N, R10E, MDM, 0.8 km (0.5 mile) SSW of Snow Point and 1.7 km (1.1 miles) SE of Orleans Flat, E of Moores Flat Road (1 mile NW of Cherry Hill), on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters
Mineralization is hosted in gabbro. Local rocks include Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a pit, trench and an adit.
