A former lode & placer Au occurrence/mine located in the NW¼ sec. 14, T15N, R9E, MDM, 2.4 km (1.5 miles ENE of Chicago Park, along the N shore of Rollins Reservoir (W of the Bear River channel), on private (patented) land. The property comprises 1.72 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
