A former Au occurrence/mine located 2.5 km (1.5 miles) WNW of Blue Tent (site), N of Round Mountain, W of Kirkham Ranch, S of the South Yuba River (6 miles NNE of Nevada City). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. The ore body is 0.91 meter thick. The vein is 6 inches (15 cm) to 3 feet (0.91 meter) thick. Local rocks include Mesozoic gabbroic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
Workings include underground openings comprised of an incline and some drifting on 2 levels.
