A former lode Au occurrence/prospect/mine located in the S½NE¼ (estimated) sec. 36, T17N, R7E, MDM, about 3.8 km N of Rough and Ready, 2.8m km (9,100 feet) SE of French Corral, along the S canyon wall of the South Yuba River. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
