A former placer Au occurrence(s)/prospect(s) located in sec. 20, T16N, R7E, MDM, 5.7 km (3.6 miles) ENE of Mooney Flat beneath and around Lake Wildwood (reservoir), along the former Deer Creek channel, S of Pleasant Valley. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. Also said to lie in secs. 18, 22 & 29, T16N, R7E, and in sec. 1 (??).
Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
