A former lode Au-Ag occurrence/mine located in sec. 11, in the NW¼NW¼ sec. 14 & in sec. 15, T17N, R11E, MDM, about 3.3 km ENE of Omega, S of the South Yuba River, on National Forest land. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is hosted in granite. The ore body is comprised of quartz veins in a shear zone. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings with a length of 487.68 meters and an overall depth of 292.61 meters and comprised of adits and shafts.
