Mineralization is hosted in limestone. Local rocks include Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range) and/or Quaternary glacial deposits.
The Hot Creek millsite is validly held in conjunction with valid lode claims.
