A former Au-Ag mine located in the E½NE¼ sec. 3, T3N, R24E, MDM, 6.0 km (3.7 miles) E of Mono Village, along Tamarack Creek (E of), on private land (patented) in a National Forest area (2 miles S of the Twin Lakes campground). Owned by Alex D. Browne. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 6 (Mono Lake).
