A former lode Au-Ag-Cu-Pb mine located in the E½E½ (estimated) sec. 24, T2S, R31E, MDM, 1.3 km (4,300 feet) SW of Diana Peak (coordinates of record), on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) and/or Plio-Pleistocene and Pliocene loosely consolidated deposits.
Workings included underground openings comprised of a 150 foot adit.
Production data are found in: Goodwin (1957).
Production information: A small amount of ore was produced in 1935. Smelter recovery ran 15.4% Pb, 1.45% Cu, 20 ounces/ton Au and 84.5 ounces/ton Ag.
