A former lode Au mine located in the W½W½NW¼ sec. 21, T6N, R26E, MDM, 0.6 km (2,100 feet) WNW of New York Hill (coordinates of record) and 1.6 km (5,200 feet) WSW of the Masonic site (adjoins the Serita Mine), on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a 50 foot deep shaft and some surface work.
