A Pb-Ag-Zn occurrence/prospect/group of claims located in secs. 10 & 15, T2S, R26E, MDM, 1.6 km (5,200 feet) WSW of June Lake (town), just W of Gull Lake (lake), on National Fotrest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is a replacement deposit hosted in limestone. Pb-Zn sulfide ore occurs in a belt of metamorphic, crystalline limestone about 1 mile wide. Disseminated mineralization occurs over a wide belt. The ore is concentrated mainly along a NW fissure where it replaces silicified limestone. Local rocks include Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 8 (Mono Lake).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of 2 open cuts and a tunnel.
