A former lode Au mine located in sec. 19, T5S, R35E, MDM, 1.6 km (5,200 feet) ENE of Campito Mountain, in the headwaters area of a S-flowing, unnamed tributary of the North Fork Crooked Creek, on National Forest land (located claim). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with a 5 foot thick (1.5 meter) vein, hosted in marble. Late Cambrian granite is an associated rock. Local rocks include Precambrian rocks, undivided, unit 1 (Death Valley) and/or Precambrian rocks, undivided, unit 1 (Death Valley).
Workings include surface and underground openings with an overall depth of 27.43 meters comprised of shafts, with the main shaft intersecting the vein at 45 feet.
Commodity information: Vein said to average $14 - $18 Au/ton (period values).
