A former Ag-Pb-Au mine located in secs. 7 & 18, T2S, R32E, MDM, 1.1 km (3,600 feet) NE of Buscones Peak, along Borasco Gulch, on National Forest land. Produced 1885-1889 and 1911-1912. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in granite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include unspecified underground openings.

Production data are found in: Goodwin, J.G. (1957): 556.

Production information: This mine was a large producer in its early years. A small amount of high-grade ore was produced prior to 1915. 48,000 ounces of Ag by cyanidation. 1911-1912 shipped Ag-Pb ore. Smelter recovery was 154.8 ounmces Ag/ton and 20.32% Pb.
