A Au occurrence/claim located in the SE¼ sec. 3, T3S, R16E, MDM, 0.8 km (2,600 feet) S of Coulterville, on Louise Point. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 feet. USGS quadrangle Coulterville, California, shows dredged areas of placer operations in the W½ of the sec.

Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
