An Fe-Cu occurrence located in sec. 32, T5S, R19E, MDM, 2.5 km (8,200 feet) WSW of Bootjack, about 3,000 feet SW of the Sebastopol School, in the headwaters area of Spring Creek (SE end Big Spring Hill, 3 miles E of Mariposa). Owned by Arthur J. Giles. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is magnetite ore and gossan associated with the Cu deposits in the SW part of the county. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
