A former lode Au mine located in secs. 2 & 11, T5S, R15E, MDM, 5.4 km (3.3 miles) WNW of Hornitos and 3.4 km (2.1 miles) E of Merced Falls (Merced County), along the Merced River, upstream from the McSwain dam. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. This site is inundated beneath the Merced River.
