A former lode Au mine located in sec. 28, T4S, R16E, MDM, 5.9 km (3.7 miles) ESE of Webb Station, along the shore of the Cotton Arm, Lake McClure (Exchequer Reservoir) (4 miles N of Hornitos). Property consisted of private (patented) land, now inundated beneath Lake McClure. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in schist and granite. The ore body strikes NE and dips 35SE at a thickness of 0.46 meter. The hanging wall is schist and the footwall is granite. Local rocks include .
Workings included underground openings with a length of 60.96 meters and an overall depth of 22.86 meters, comprised of an incline and a tunnel.
