A former lode Au mine located in sec. 5, T5S, R16E, MDM, 2.9 km (9,400 feet) WSW of Quartzburg and 2.9 km (9,500 feet) N of Hornitos. Property consisted of unpatented land. Operated by A. T. Alarid, et al. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500m meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include unspecified underground openings.
