A former lode Au-Cu mine located in secs. 8 & 9, T8S, R18E, MDM, 2.3 km (7,500 feet) SW of Green Mountain (coordinates of record) (adjoins the Goodview Mine on the S). Operated in 1905 and 1907. Operated by Leonard and Sidney (1907). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with 3 veins, hosted in slate and mica schist. The 3 steeply-dipping veins are within a zone 600 feet wide. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings with a total length of 53.34 meters and an overall depth of 24.38 meters. In 1908 the E vein had an 80 foot deep shaft; the middle vein had 2 shafts at 20 and 25 feet deep; and, the W vein had 1 shaft 50 feet deep.

Some sulfide ore shipped ran 20-22% Cu. No production reported.
