A former lode Au mine located in the SE¼SE¼ sec. 3, T5S, R15E, MDM, 6.2 km (3.8 miles) WNW of Hornitos, along the Merced River (N bank opposite Cemetary Hill, near the Merced County line). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters. Locality may now be inundated beneath the Merced River.
