A former Mn mine located in sec. 11, T3S, R15E, MDM, 1.6 km (5,400 feet) SSE of Granite Springs (1 mile S of Granite Springs school near Willow Creek). Operated by Dr. Robert D. Dunn. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Geology and mineral occurrence similar to that of the Caldwell Mine (sec. 14). Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
A small tonnage of ore was produced in 1954.
