A former placer and lode Au mine located in secs. 1 & in the SW¼SW¼NW¼ sec. 12, T4S, R19E, MDM, 2.7 km (9,000 feet) WSW of Peachtree Bar, along Devil Gulch (7 miles N of Darrah), on National Forest land and private (patented) land. Property is apparently both patented and unpatented, according to the 2 MRDS files. Operated by the Alma Investment Co. and/or John L. Green et al. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated. Location may be the prospect shown in the SW corner of sec. 1, between the trail and Skelton Creek, on the USGS quadrangle Buckingham Mountain, California (1949).
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
