A former Au-Ag-Cu mine located in sec. 8, T5S, R20E, MDM, 2.5 km (8,300 feet) ESE of Darrah, in the headwaters area of Fox Creek, on National Forest land. The property consisted of an unpatented claim in 1927. Operated by M. Kane Golden Opportunity Inc. (1927). Produced during the period 1933 to 1936. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
