A former Cu-Ag mine located in sec. 2, T9S, R18E, and in sec. 35, T8S, R18E, MDM, 0.9 km (2,800 feet) SSW of Iron Mountain (2) (1½ miles E from the Buchanan Mine). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in schist. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings comprised of an old shaft full of water. 100 feet E is a shaft 25 feet deep. The old shaft is 80 feet deep with 1 drift at bottom and one 30 feet from surface.

No production reported.

There is little evidence of copper ore, except on the dump.
