A former lode Au prospect/mine located in the W½ center (estimated) sec. 19, T10S, R21E, MDM, 0.6 km (2,100 feet) SE of Indian Springs, along Cottonwood Creek, on the SW slope of Berry Hill. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is an 18 inch (45 cm) thick vein deposit, hosted in granite. The ore body dips 50SW at a thickness of 0.46 meters. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) and/or pre-Cenozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks undivided.
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 40 foot incline.
