A former lode Au mine located in the SE¼ (estimated) sec. 29, and in the SW¼ (estimated) sec. 28, T7S, R21E, MDM, 2.9 km (9,400 feet) S of Deadwood Peak (coordinates of record). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. This property adjoins the Hawkeye Mine on the NW.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include pre-Cenozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks undivided.
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 100 foot deep shaft. At one time rich rock was worked on an arrastra.
