A former lode Au mine located in sec. 30, T7S, R21E, MDM (UTM estimated from topo map - location uncertain), 2.9 km (9,500 feet) SW of Deadwood Peak (coordinates of record) and 3.7 km (2.3 miles) N of Coarsegold, along Deadwood Gulch, and E of the S end Buckeye Mountain (2 miles SW of Deadwood Peak). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated. The NW extension of the Caroline Mine.
Mineralization is a 2 foot thick vein deposit. The ore body is 0.61 meters thick. Local rocks include pre-Cenozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks undivided.
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 15 foot shaft.
