A former lode Au mine located in secs. 29 and/or 30, T7S, R21E, MDM, 2.9 km (9,600 feet) SW of Deadwood Peak (coordinates of record) and 3.5 km (2.2 miles) N of Coarsegold, along Deadwood Gulch and E of the S end Buckeye Mountain (2 miles SW of Deadwood Peak). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is an 18 inch thick vein deposit. The ore body is 0.46 meter thick. Local rocks include pre-Cenozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks undivided.
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a shaft and open cuts.
