A former lode Au mine located in the SW¼NW¼ (estimated) sec. 19, T10S, R22E, MDM, 2.6 km (8,600 feet) S of Crook Mountain and 6.8 km (4.2 miles) S of Hildreth, along the San Joaquin River (Millerton Lake) (on the W shore of the river, on the steep side of the San Joaquin Canyon). Property consisted of 5 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include underground openings comprised of 14 tunnels totaling 1,000 feet, plus a mill.

Assay data results: A 300 pound (130 kg) sample from dumps reported to have an average of $60/ton in Au (period values) from mill test.
