A Cu-Au occurrence/prospect located in secs. 14 and/or 23, T10S, R21E, MDM, 2.3 km (7,600 feet) ENE of Hulbert Mountain and 5.0 km (3.1 miles) SSW of Hildreth, along Fine Gold Creek. Active in 1902. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit. The ore body is 2.44 meters thick. A series of 3 ledges, smaller veins of quartz, occur in schistose vein matter of extensive width. The Cu ores are sulfides, oxides and green carbonate. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) and/or pre-Cenozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks undivided.

Workings include surface and underground openings. The undeground workings total 17.07 meters in length and are comprised of a 46 foot tunnel, and a shallow 10 foot deep shaft.

Ore was said to have carried values of $4 to $5 per ton (period values).
