A Au occurrence/claim located in sec. 24, T29N, R11E, MDM, 5.3 km (3.3 miles) N of Diamond Mountain, along Gold Run Creek. Immediately E of NE corner of the Gold Belt claim cross-cut tunnel. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. A vein several inches wide strikes N70W and dips 85SW. The quartz is ocher-stained with accompanying sheared quartz-diorite wall rock. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings (cross-cut tunnel).
