A placer Au occurrence located in sec. 12, T28N, R10E, MDM, 2.9 km (9,400 feet) ENE of Coyote Peak, along Willard Creek, on National Forest land. The deposit occurs in all or parts of secs. 1-8, 12-13 and 32. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is an auriferous gravels deposit. Local rocks include Eocene nonmarine rocks, unit 1 (Northern and Central California).
