A former gypsum mine located in sec. 11, T24S, R18E, MDM, 8.1 km (5.0 miles) SE of Reef Station and 17.8 km (11.1 miles) S of Kettleman City, on the Kettleman Plain. Owned & operated by Glen C. Archer Gypsum, 2635 Keough Rd, Vistalia, California 93277 (1981). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
