A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 10, T28S, R32E, MDM, 1.3 km (0.8 mile) SW of Havilah, along the W ridge of Havilah Canyon, just S of Jenny Lind Canyon, on private (patented) land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in granitoid. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings.
