A former lode Au-Pb occurrence/mine located in sec. 11, T30S, R40E, MDM, about 2.6 km ESE of Government Peak and about 3.3 km SSE of Randsburg, on private (patented) land. The property is comprised of 40 acres. Owned by George Carr, Bakersfield, California. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in schist. Local rocks include Precambrian rocks, undivided, unit 2 (Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 91.44 meters and comprised of several shafts at 40 to 300 feet deep.
Production data are found in: Brown, G. Chester (1916a).
High-grade ore, free-milling. Ore was shipped to the Red Dog custom mill.
