A W occurrence located in the NE¼ sec. 12, T30S, R40E, MDM, about 3.3 km SE of Randsburg. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is hosted ion schist. The ore body strikes E and dips S at a width of 0.76 meter. Controls for ore emplacement included fault zones. A dike strikes N50W and dips 60NE. The principal ore shoots occur at the intersection of fault zones and the dike. Associated rocks include plutonic rocks. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) and/or Precambrian rocks, undivided, unit 2 (Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground opening with an overall depth of 45.72 meters and comprised of a vertical shaft 150 feet deep with a few hundred feet of drifts on levels at 65, 100 & 150 feet.
